Leo Vannoni was 7 years old and had just started second grade at Bluffton Elementary School when he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2012. After a long, strong fight, Leo lost his battle to this disease in February of 2014.
Leo’s Legacy was created to give back to the community by raising funds for scholarships for higher education and youth recreational sports. In the last 3 years we were able to give over $20,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors of Beaufort County schools as well as donations to Bluffton Youth Sports, Beaufort County PALs, MUSC, Foundation for Educational Excellence, and others.
